Guys, do you hear that? It’s the sound of the Raza about to dock for the season. I know, I know, I won’t dwell on such unpleasantries just yet. I just don’t want anyone to get space sickness when the Blink Drive goes offline. Just wear your seatbelt and you should be fine.
Fair warning: Joe does bring up food (again) this week. So if you’re on a diet, you might want to stick to reading only the tiny words. I’m told they have less calories.

Now, on with the week!
Today was a fun day. Joe introduced us to some more “Akemi-isms” as he calls them. She’s got a unique way of saying certain things that’s both amusing and adorable. You can also catch a few more reviews of “Going Out Fighting” while you’re there.
Monday is generally everybody’s least favorite day and Joe had good reason to dislike this particular one. Click over to read the strange tale of his flight to L.A. It involved loud noises and a Zorro outfit. Def weird. Def worth a read.
Looking toward the future … that’s what today was all about. With the upcoming episode “Take The Shot” we were treated to a promo, a sneak peek from someone I know, and a preview of the episode courtesy of Aimee Hicks of Spoiler TV.
It’s rewind time, back to the days of Stargate Universe! Joe had lunch with David Blue who played fan-favorite Eli on the show and probably my favorite character in the series. Lucky Joe also got to have dinner with Misaki Han herself, Ellen Wong. Lucky Bubba and Lulu got new hats. All I got was a weird rash on my … well, you don’t want to know about that.
The bestest news that could ever be happened today. This was when we learned both Dark Matter and Killjoys had been picked up for a third season! Thank you Syfy for keeping Fridays fun. Speaking of fun, Joe had dinner with the lovely Melanie Liburd, her husband Ben, and Jason Priestley! All I ever get for lunch is a rock …
Tonight’s the night we see “Take The Shot”, but the questions still remain. Who’s the shooter and who’s the shootee? To tease this and other questions, there’s another sneak peek episode preview you might want to see.
With the season three pickup, Joe’s had to switch gears from worrying about renewal to worrying about cranking out the space hijinks for the third season. But before we get ahead of ourselves, there are a few pictures from the final three episodes of season two you just have to see.
And that, fellow space cases, is this week in the world of Dark Matter! Check the links below for ways to keep in touch and up to date.
